2 slices bacon, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8-ounce) package crescent roll dough
1 tablespoon chives, chopped
2 ounces (1/2 cup) Treasure Cave® Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1 egg, beaten
Preheat the oven to 350oF.
In a skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the bacon and garlic until the bacon is crisp. Drain.
Unroll the dough onto a parchment-lined baking pan and press the seams together. Sprinkle the bacon and garlic mixture in the center of the dough in a cream cheese–sized rectangle. Then, cover it with the chives and Treasure Cave® Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese. Place the cream cheese on top. Then, wrap the dough around everything and press the seams together. Turn the dough over and brush it with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden. Serve hot with crackers for spreading.
